Hi, I’m Leila

I’m a fourth-year honors student at Seattle University, majoring in sociology with minors in communication & media and women, gender, & sexuality Studies.

In addition to my studies, I am the Editor-in-Chief of The Spectator. I’ve been a contributor since my freshman year, and it is there that I've nurtured my love for writing and used storytelling as a tool to foster meaningful dialogue.

My writing explores diverse subjects—from museum exhibits and the arts to agriculture and food systems. Available for freelance writing opportunities, I plan to pursue writing in a plethora of forms after I graduate.
